Pretty good pizza, all the toppings tasted fresh. Be advised it's a thin crust pizza, and I mean tortilla thin. Parking us almost non existent which is normal for this area

The guy who was making the bagel went from using his phone to scratching his hands and making the bagel with his bare hands. Another person entered the kitchen and started handling the bagel with her hands again. No gloves. Edit: I'd be gladly willing to return if they used gloves and make it less greasy.

Drove by this place all the time and decided to check out. Wow what a pleasant surprise! Got the lox bagel with cucumbers, super fresh toppings and that salmon so tasty. Dare I say, better than Belle's?! I love the toppings here more but honestly prefer texture of Belle's bagel. Hubby got the pizza bagel which he loved. The cheese pull was insane and had great flavors. Overall we loved it here and zero wait times are you kidding?! Would definitely come back to try other bagels and pizzas!

My wife and I are always looking out for new pizza places to try in and around Los Angeles. Bagel + Slice is located in Highland Park right near Occidental College. I can only review the pizza since I have never tried their bagels. You have the choice of purchasing a whole pie or slices. This is a particularly good place for slices. I could tell from the first bite that they use higher quality ingredients. The crust has a crisp that I like. The tomato sauce was not acidic, and the cheese had excellent flavor. In addition to regular slices, they also have two vegan options. Is this a place worth driving to? Yes, it is. Since the Los Angeles Area is so vast, I would definitely make the effort to go here when I am on the east side either going to Glendale or Pasadena.
